The Happiest Sea Turtle On Earth

Peek a Boo captures a rare and intimate sunset moment between photographer and wildlife in the waters off Haleiwa on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. As the sun set over the Pacific Ocean, the world’s happiest sea turtle surfaced unexpectedly and swam directly toward the camera, appearing to smile as it aligned perfectly with the glowing horizon. The photograph reflects a fleeting encounter shaped by timing, trust, and the natural rhythm of the ocean. The moment resulted in an image that feels personal, joyful, and quietly powerful. Peek a Boo is one of Philip Waller’s most collected fine art photographs and has become a defining image of his body of work. Offered as a metal, acrylic, canvas, and paper fine art photography print this piece is produced using museum quality materials and archival processes designed to ensure longevity and exceptional detail. Peek a Boo brings the happiest turtle to life making it well suited for homes, offices, and thoughtfully curated interiors. Its rarity, craftsmanship, and global recognition contribute to its lasting value as a collectible work of fine art.
