Cardinal Stare
Kona, Big Island, Hawaii
Cardinal Stare is a fine art photograph by Philip Waller captured on the Big Island of Hawaii. This striking image features a vivid red cardinal perched among dense tropical foliage and clusters of deep red berries, creating a layered composition rich in color and texture. The bird’s direct gaze contrasts beautifully with the soft green background and organic shapes of the surrounding leaves, highlighting the quiet intensity and detail of Hawaii’s introduced forest wildlife.
Cardinal Stare is available as metal, acrylic, canvas, and paper fine art prints. Each print is produced using museum quality materials and archival printing techniques to preserve fine detail, vibrant color, and long term longevity. This artwork is ideal for collectors drawn to bird photography, tropical nature, bold color contrast, and intimate wildlife portraits.
