Aurora Blood Moon
Brooks Range, Arctic Circle, Alaska
Aurora Blood Moon is a fine art photograph by Philip Waller captured in the Brooks Range within the Arctic Circle of Alaska. A luminous green aurora borealis spreads across a cloud filled night sky while a deep red moon glows through the drifting clouds above rugged snow covered mountains. The silhouetted spruce trees form a dark foreground that frames the dramatic contrast between the glowing sky and the frozen landscape.
The pairing of vivid aurora light and the rare red moon creates a powerful and atmospheric scene that feels both calm and otherworldly. Aurora Blood Moon brings a striking yet contemplative presence into living spaces and is available as metal, acrylic, canvas, and paper fine art prints produced with archival materials for long lasting quality.
