Booming Borealis
Brooks Range, Arctic Circle, Alaska
Booming Borealis is a fine art photograph by Philip Waller captured in the Brooks Range within the Arctic Circle of Alaska. A powerful arc of aurora borealis stretches across the night sky, glowing in vivid green tones with hints of soft purple blending into the surrounding stars. The sweeping light forms a broad curtain above rugged snow covered mountains, creating a dramatic contrast between the luminous sky and the dark alpine terrain below.
The scale and intensity of the aurora convey a sense of movement and energy, while the still mountains ground the scene in quiet permanence. Booming Borealis brings a bold and immersive presence into living spaces and is available as metal, acrylic, canvas, and paper fine art prints produced with archival materials for long lasting quality.
